| The WWWAC Volunteer SIG was created to develop new media talent skills and serve the non-profit community at large. The Volunteer SIG develops Web sites for non-profit organizations pro-bono using volunteer services donated by its members. Recent efforts include the City Harvest Web site http://www.cityharvest.org and a Web site for Sanctuary for Families. The group meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month where members meet prospective npo's, review prospective projects and collectively work on the Web sites at the meetings. | |
