The WWWAC Open Source SIG (OSSIG) covers the applications and implications of the use of Open Source tools for developing and deploying web-based services. The meeting format will focus on case studies that explore the business, technology, and competitive impact of Open Source tools on bidding, winning, managing, completing and maintaining projects.

About the SIG Leader

Clay Gordon is currently CIO of Heck.com, and is in charge of developing and deploying a unique directory to the Internet that is built entirely using Open Source technologies. He has been active in the computer graphics, HDTV, interactive multimedia/advertising/Internet businesses since 1983. On the side he researches and lectures about varietal chocolates.
