
The World Wide Web Artists' Consortium is a global organization dedicated to encouraging education, collaboration and entrepreneurship in the individuals who make up our passionate membership. As an unbiased voice of the industry, WWWAC is committed to supporting the unprecedented growth of the Internet by creating opportunities for our members to succeed in their online endeavors.
The WWWAC was started by Web developers in December 1994 and incorporated as a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), corporation in the State of New York, in June, 1997.
The WWWAC is governed by a 15 member, board of directors, elected to two year terms on a staggered schedule by the membership. The board meets monthly and the meetings are open to the public.
